This year's godzilla el nino can potentially be the strongest el nino in history. A strong el nino will cause central american rain belt to shift towards the southern US. If the trade winds around the equator collapses the godzilla will become the strongest el nino since 1970s.
ReplyDeleteThis applies to environmental science because el nino is a global climate phenomenon that affects many ecosystems over long distances. Also el nino is a result of atmospheric movements and ocean water flow, both are studied in environmental science.
Question after reading: how does el nino reduce fish population?
