ReplyDelete1. Nitrogen functions much like steroid in a natural ecosystem, it is necessary for biological functions but excessive amounts of nitrogen can disrupt an ecosystem's balance.
2. After the 20th century, humans developed methods of synthetically fixing nitrogen from the atmosphere. Since then human activities have contributed greatly to nitrogen fixation.
3. Nowadays human are regulating their nitrogen output to reduce environmental impacts.
B. This applies to environmental science because the article discusses how nitrogen as a macronutrient affects the environment and how humans activities are disrupting the natural carbon and nitrogen cycles.
C.How can we fulfill our needs for nitrogen without damaging the ecosystem?
