ReplyDelete3) Nitrogen effects the amount of producers in the Ocean. There are alot of instances where land environments will affect the ocean. The more trees in an area the more likely the ocean will have more nitrogen.
ReplyDelete2)Factors in the land can have rippling affects that change the behavior of ecosystems in the ocean. An area with more trees next to an ocean will give off more nitrogen into the ocean than an area without trees.
1)What are other ways that changes in a land ecosystem changes ecosystems in the ocean.
3) Manta rays were tracked in the ocean and were found to graze by islands with rich dense forests. The wildlife that lived on these islands increased the amount of nitrogen in that ecosystem which in turn increased the population of organisms on the island and in the ocean surrounding the island. Human interaction of the islands not only changed the wildlife within the island, but also the ocean.
ReplyDeleteB) Human interaction with environments can sometimes have an unintended influence on other ecosystems. Organisms can have traits that have significant benefits to environments.
C) Is this a positive or negative influence on that ecosystem?
